Alpha is a series of interactive sessions that creates an open and honest space, online or in person, where people can explore life, faith and meaning.
Alpha Is Free And Everyone Is Welcome
WHAT TO EXPECT
01. Food
Whether in person over a free meal or virtually with a cup of tea, all sessions start with a time to connect, relax and build friendships.
02. A Talk
The Alpha talks are designed to inspire conversation. They explore the big issues of life and faith, addressing questions like “Who is Jesus?”, “Why and how do I pray?” and “How does God guide us?”
03. Discussion
One of the most important parts of any Alpha: the chance to share thoughts and ideas on the topic, and discuss in a small group. There’s no obligation to say anything, there’s nothing you can’t say and no question is off limits. (seriously).

Discipleship 360We believe that making disciples is the key mission of the modern day church. In the Christian context, a disciple is a learner, a student and a follower of Jesus Christ. According to 1st John, a disciple has to have a personal encounter with God, be transformed and enforce the new life from sin to grace, enjoy God's word through studying and journaling through the Bible, someone who is involved and engaged in the local church and be empowered to evangelise the gospel to those around them. To achieve this, the Discipleship 360 program takes believers and disciples them in a community of faith by teaching, modelling and fellowship through one on one discipling and discussions in small connect groups. Discipleship 360 is an initiative designed to equip believers to move from spiritual infancy to embracing their call and commission to make disciples. Water BaptismWater baptism is a 'rite of passage' for Christians who wish to make a public confession of their faith in and personal commitment to Christ. In the Bible, Jesus himself was baptised, and many followers were baptised to declare their faith and transformed lives. Baptism is also a step of obedience to Christ. If you are interested in getting baptised, contact: Ps Michael Chong (michael@iccbrisbane.org)
